Everything About the ÖBB Vorteilscard: What’s New in 2024?

The Vorteilscard is ÖBB’s loyalty card for frequent rail travelers, offering discounts on domestic and international routes. Types include:

• Vorteilscard Classic: 50% off standard tickets.
• Vorteilscard Comfort: Same as Classic plus additional benefits like seat reservation discounts.
• Vorteilscard 66: For young people.

Changes in 2024

From January 20, 2025, significant changes take effect. The Vorteilscard Classic drops from €99 to €71. The Vorteilscard Comfort stays at €86 but with added benefits.

From December 15, 2024, standard ticket prices increase by an average of 4.9%, though Sparschiene fares remain unchanged. The Vorteilscard remains a good deal for frequent travelers.

The new Comfort card includes 50% off all standard fares and seat reservations, plus discounts on first-class upgrades.
